Off to see Mo!

Anna worked to look her absolute cutest before we left. She wanted to charm her favorite author

Today we were off to see Mo Willems, our very favorite children's author. Mo was at Anderson's Bookshop in Naperville, so we were happy to make the trek (otherwise we'd have to go see him in NYC).

I followed the instructions on the website and called ahead to pre-order our books and get a line number. Turns out that was the best advice ever! We were number 39 in line. The highest number I spotted was 151. Walk-ins got in line after the numbers were gone. Yikes! That would have been a long wait in a small store.

At the risk of sounding like a stalker, Arron and I decided sometime we'd love to sit down with Mo for beer or coffee/tea/hot cocoa and chat. He seems like he'd have some wonderful stories to tell.

There he is, signing away

Fuzzy Mo. I've had this camera for a year and a half - you'd think I'd be used the the auto-focus by now

Signing a book for Emily, whoever she is
